First Choice Credit Union Extends Community Fund Application Deadline to 17 July 2026
First Choice Credit Union is pleased to announce an extension to the application deadline for its 2026 Community Fund, giving local groups, clubs, charities and community organisations additional time to apply for financial support.
The closing date for applications has now been extended to Friday, 17 July 2026.
The First Choice Credit Union Community Fund was established to support projects and initiatives that make a positive impact across the communities served by the credit union. The fund provides vital assistance to organisations working to enhance community life, promote inclusion, support wellbeing, encourage participation in sport and recreation, and deliver meaningful local projects.
As a member-owned financial cooperative, First Choice Credit Union is committed to reinvesting in the communities it serves. Through sponsorships, community initiatives and grant programmes such as the Community Fund, the credit union continues to support local organisations that contribute to the social, cultural and economic wellbeing of Mayo communities.
Community groups, clubs etc. that have not yet submitted an application are encouraged to do so before the new deadline of 17 July 2026.
