First Choice Credit Union Staff Take on HYROX Challenge to Support The Sunflower Children's Hospice

At First Choice Credit Union, community is at the heart of everything we do. Recently, a group of our dedicated staff members put that commitment into action by taking on a challenging HYROX fitness event at The Movement Gym Castlebar, all in aid of the incredible work carried out by The Sunflower Children's Hospice.

HYROX is renowned for testing participants' strength, endurance and determination through a combination of functional fitness exercises and running. It was no small feat, but our team embraced the challenge with enthusiasm, teamwork and a shared goal of making a difference for local children and families.

Over weeks of preparation and training, staff members pushed themselves outside their comfort zones, demonstrating the same perseverance and dedication that they bring to their roles every day. On event day, the atmosphere at The Movement Gym was electric as participants tackled each station with determination and encouragement from colleagues, friends and supporters.

Most importantly, the event raised valuable funds for The Sunflower Children's Hospice, a Mayo Roscommon Hospice project that will provide essential care, support and comfort to children with life-limiting conditions and their families and we were proud to support their mission.
